I Like Anime ( Show #6 )

I'm really pissed off right now because I have to rewrite everything. So sorry if it seems a little lacking.

This is episode 6! BABY!

NEWS
First off, I would like to thank our guest, BakaCrisis, for coming on the show today. BakaCrisis is a member of our staff who maintains the forums, and is the designer for our banner and future t-shirts. In this episode, the ILA (I Like Anime) staff brought up a very sad thing, Captain Jack's death. Captain Jack's music can be found on many Dance Dance Revolution machines and video games. For him, we had a moment of silence. After this, BakaCrisis brought up some Playstation 2 information, regarding a slim silver PS2 that had been released in Japan.

After the news, we read our one new comment about someone having a crush on Kylaran. ROFL!

BakaCrisis and Thayle then discussed website in formation which can be found here
We are currently requesting donations to fund an actual domain name for the podcast website. Donators who give $10 or more will receive a free t-shirt! (Applause)

MOVIES, MUSIC & AMVs
Today for movies, Kylaran and Zayre discussed an older movie, Saw. The reason this was discussed was because Saw 2 is being released in theaters this Friday. For music, our guest BakaCrisis had a request, Melissa by Porno Graffiti. (I love that name). This song is from Full Metal Alchemist and is AWESOME!!! We then moved on to discuss BakaCrisis's AMV which will be on the website very soon to download. The anime used was Cowboy BeBop, the music was a song of his creation. Again, it should be on the website soon.

VIDEO GAMES & BOOKS
As Thayle had said in a previous episode, Shadow of the Colossus was reviewed. Thayle recommends this game to any fantasy, RPG, or Ico lover out there. This game received a 9.5/10. Kylaran talked about Fanfiction in this episode, instead of an actual book. He also writes some fanfiction which he did not mention. These stories can be find on Elfwood, by searching his name on the Author search.

MANGA, ANIME & HENTAI
For Manga, Kylaran discussed Pastel, giving his full analysis. (As usual). After the manga was addressed we moved into a special this episode.

This special was a Japanese lesson, which can be found to anyone who wants to learn Japanese, or brush up on some basics. The form of this lesson was similar to Pimsleur's, thanks mainly to Zayre. Lol.

The same credits as always were mentioned. Also, do not forget to donate, remember you will receive a free t-shirt with a $10 donation and a shirt with your name on the back for a $15 donation.

Listen in next week. BYE!!

I Like Anime ( Ragna-ROCK )

Episode: Ragna-ROCK!!!!

Alright guys, here's fair warning. This episode is strictly for Ragnarok Online players. Those of you who do not play and have no interest in learning to play or dislike computer games should NOT listen to our ranting. Have a good day. :D

WHAT'S IN OUR RANDOM EPISODE?
This episode, obviously entired based on Ragnarok Online, began with a custom done introduction by Kylaran (who sounded very Japanese-y, kekekeke... fufufufu....) [ Lawl. Roflcopter.].

...Anyways...

First on the agenda was builds. We discussed various, very simple builds for all of the 2nd class characters. We refrained from going in depth as to prevent both co
nfusion and reduce length of the episode. After builds, Thayle enlightened us on his preferences on private server making. Afterwards, a little bit of MvP was referred to.

That's about it. Short, ain't it?

XD Enjoy the show Fella's.

I Like Anime ( Show #5 )

BAM! Episode 5.

Of course, we opened up with our usual random bits of crazy chat. Yays. :D

NEWS
First off, our first subject was iPod Video, covered by none other than our awsome short Jew, Thayle. He emphasized the greatness of the video-ness, and also told listeners which amounts of memory you could buy the iPod in. Shadow of the Colossus, a new game, came in a demo for Thayle. Earlier in the day, we tested the game and proceeded to review how we thought of it so far. main subjects of awsomeness for the game are: the game interface, graphics, and the fighting abilities/limits. Newer halo updates were talked of about by none other than our Halo specialist, PandaPlaya, who discussed the gayness of those moders and such.

Our comment for the week was sent by our listener down in Australia! Thanks for the support!

MOVIES, MUSIC & AMVs
The movie discussed was Corpse Bride, a movie done by the same director as the one who made The Nightmare Before Christmas, a very famous movie that everyone likes. The music was a request by a fan (who's name we regrettably forgot) and was titled: kanashimi wo Yasashisa ni by Little by Little, a very famous band. For the AMV, we went back to the greatness of Advent Children and presented a review as well. (Sorry, since this is Ky typing, and I - quite frankly - don't have much knowledge and/or liking of Final Fantasy, cannot tell you poor readers the name of the AMV, where it came from, how good it was, or who made it. My apologies. :P

VIDEO GAMES & BOOKS
For video games we discussed Indigo Prophecy, a good game for both XBox and Playstation 2. Zayre proceeded to tell everyone aspects of the game, rating it as a very good game, in his opinion. For Books, Kylaran talked of the anime-based Japanese fictional novels Bokusatsu Tenshi Tokuro-chan. He claimed it was a very funny, and yet could be serious, book that people, who can read Japanese, should pick up. (It's not like I understood all of it. XDDDD Just enough of it.)

MANGA, ANIME & HENTAI
The main topic for manga was the comparison of Naruto manga to anime, as well as a few comments relating to the scanslations vs the actual translations. PoiBoi led the discussion, but Ky entered in a few comments on how he read the scanslations only, and how he preferred them to both the anime and the actual anime. There were two subjects for the anime discussion, one, who was asked to be done by the Australian commenter, was RaXphon, who Ky, apoligeticaly, could not give a good review or comment on the anime. We're sure it deserves far more justice than what it was given the day that episode was made. Loveless, the second anime subject, is an anime about forbidden love, specifically that of two men, also known as yaoi or shounen-ai. Ky emphasized some of the more controversial topics related to the anime. Hentai, which was brought up by Zayre, was centered around Koihime, which is a hentai animation that reflects around one guy going to meet his childhood "playmates' in an unknown village. Rated slightly above average, both Ky and Zayre added their ratings.

The credits were filled with stupidity (when is it not?) and hopefully, left the episode with a finished feel. Thanks to all commenters, guests, and fans (especially Victor). You guys have made us feel very orgasmic (in a non-sexual way) about getting our opinions out there. We hoped we gave you both entertainment and good laughs. See yas.
